Medical Herbalist

Herbal medicine can be used to treat a wide range of health conditions and is suitable for all ages. It can also be used to complement an existing treatment or to alleviate symptoms or side effects from that treatment. Herbal medicine is also great for boosting your immune system, preventing disease and enjoying optimal health.

Western Herbal Medicine uses natural whole plant-based remedies to prevent disease, treat a wide range of conditions and restore health and vitality. It draws on rich ancient traditional knowledge of herbs combined with the sensibility of current scientific research.

One of the key strengths of herbal medicine is its ability to centre treatments on you as an individual rather than on the disease or condition. The focus of treatment is on the underlying causes of disease rather than the symptoms in one. For this reason it is common for two patients with the same condition to leave with two different herbal prescriptions or remedies.
