What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a comprehensive system of healthcare which originated in India over 5000 years ago. It Is now widely practised throughout India as one of the government recognised systems of healthcare together with allopathic medicine, homeopathy, naturopathy and yogic sciences. It is now increasingly more widely in Western countries both as a primary care form of medicine and also as a complementary medicine for people who also need allopathic care.
