What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a comprehensive system of healthcare which originated in India over 5000 years ago. It Is now widely practised throughout India as one of the government recognised systems of healthcare together with allopathic medicine, homeopathy, naturopathy and yogic sciences. It is now increasingly more widely in Western countries both as a primary care form of medicine and also as a complementary medicine for people who also need allopathic care.

What can it help?

  • Pain and musculo-skeletal injuries including back and joint pains, sciatica and arthritis (OA and RA)
  • Migraine and Headaches
  • Neurolgical problems such as numbness, weakness, loss of strength, etc

  • Cough, asthma, allergies, etc
  • Heartburn, palpitations, high blood pressure and cardiac complaints
